There are two kinds of people in the world:

1.  People who make interest and
2.  People who pay interest!

Words that should describe our financial plan:

1.  Save

2.  Give

3.  Live

Eventually, you run out.  Illustration:  Belshazzar

The choice:

1.  You tell yourself, “No, you can’t have it.”

2.  You will eventually have other people telling you, “No, you can’t have it.”

Little bumps create big setbacks!

“There is no such thing as a free lunch.”

Balanced budget amendment?

God on the subject of debt

1.  God said, “It is better (blessed) to make interest (lend) than to pay interest (borrow).”

2.  Borrowing was evidence that things were going poorly.

3.  It used to be that way here (blessed).

We abused our prosperity!

There’s hope for recovery, but it will not be easy!

Cutting back

It is not really a debt problem.  It is a spending problem that we have!
