We had 19 teachers who departed from Rosemount at approximately 10 a.m. on Wednesday, October 8. After our travels and a lunch stop, we arrived in Wisconsin Dells a little early. Since check in was at 4 p.m. at the lodge, the staff stopped by Tanger Outlets for a little shopping. Afterward, we checked in, freshened up, and then went to Keystone Baptist Church for their 6:30 p.m. service. After the service we went to Applebee’s for a late supper.

After Thursday morning’s McDonald’s run, the morning general session started at 9 a.m. featuring Dr. David Gibbs III. He spoke on boldness and used Acts 4:29. We then moved on to our first workshop from 10:30 to 11:20, and then had a conference luncheon of chicken and vegetables. The second workshop was from 1 to 1:50 p.m. The last workshop of Thursday was 2:30 to 3:20 and then the general session was at 3:30 p.m. with Dr. David Gibbs III once again. He spoke on being holy from I Peter 2:14-16. He challenged us with the thought of, “When God looks at you, how much of Himself does he see?”

We enjoyed dinner at Cracker Barrel on Thursday evening and some fellowship and games afterward.

On Friday, workshops started at 8:30 and 9:30 a.m. respectively. We checked out of the hotel at 10:30 and then finished with a general session at 11 a.m. Evangelist Andy Gleiser spoke about the plan to reach the next generation. His text was from Psalm 78:1-8.

After the last general session, we stopped at the Moosejaw Restaurant for lunch. Dunkin Donuts was spotted as we arrived on Wednesday, so, praise the Lord, we were also able to stop there as well just before heading back to Rosemount.

Praise the Lord for a great time of fellowship and learning. The weather was beautiful. We arrived back on Friday evening and the new, freshly-painted parking lot lines on the campus were visible. Next year’s convention will once again be at the Glacier Canyon Lodge, and it will be held on Wednesday, October 7-9, 2015. The 2016 convention will be in South Bend, Indiana.
