Two Junior High Groups Sing for February 7 Youth Service Night

What a blessing to see over fifty teenagers attend the Youth Service Night at First Baptist Church of Rosemount on Sunday night, February 7, 2010. Yes, this was the night of the Super Bowl. But, what a blessing to see the young people faithful and in their place at church.

During Youth Chapel, Mr. Graves compared the wise and foolish teenager and how the wise teen will respond well to reproof, rebuke, and correction. Actually, the wise teenager will actually love the correction. The fool will hate it. We played a game, had prayer time, and worked on our choir song as well.

Many of the teenagers helped out ushering, greeting, and providing special music. God bless our teenagers. How wonderful it is to see them learn and be mentored by others who will help and teach them to serve in their local church.

Isaac Palmer provided the offertory and played his guitar. Brent Nibbe was able to be in the sound booth with Mr. Casselman and Mr. Walls. Our next Youth Service Night will be in March of 2010.
