Sign Language (Interpreting) for Teenagers

These tutorials, providing specific instruction for Youth Service Night at First Baptist, are for our teenagers who are willing to serve in their local church. For anyone who is interested in interpreting for the deaf in church, please observe the following:

1. Dress appropriately.
2. Be prepared ahead of time for your song. Have a printed paper with you that has the words.
3. Interact the best you can with the deaf people.
4. Use facial expression when you sign.
5. Keep your signs sharp and not sloppy.
6. Ask questions ahead of time if you need to.
